AC HOTEL | Marriott

ROLE: Lead Designer

For the Marriott AC Hotel the experience is focused on custom artwork, high design elements and an elegant contemporary look. Two sites were designed to deliver a 50ft wide wall work and multiple 12 foot tall vertical glass etched designs.

Client: Marriott

Interior Landscapes

The wall work is a wireframe representation of downtown Portland sidewalks and architecture, creating a compressed survey of the surrounding blocks and notable structural features. The landscape approach fits well in the wide mural format, encompassing the breakfast cafe area with a warm, calming pattern-like design. Yet each visit will most likely provide a viewer with a new discovery.

Glass Patterns

The etched glass elements create four totems that abstract retail store façades that populate the downtown city center. The four pillars are arranged to frame the stairwell leading down to more guest amenities.
