This work interprets the Columbia Gorge and its vast scale and natural beauty. It is created using large manipulated photographic prints integrated into a hand painted mural. The image abstracts both photo documentation and landscape painting to comment on the impossibility of capturing the experience seen in person, instead celebrating it as a fleeting moment of euphoric experience.
